Workshops

George Brown College students will be working with Peel Youth to create a digital solution to help support youth in crisis. We will be running a series of workshops to collect information, involve Peel youth and their support networks in the design process, and get feedback on our final product.

Participants will receive an honorarium and reimbursement of transit costs.

Supporting youth who have had personal experience with crisis situations? A crisis is a situation that has caused a youth emotional or physical distress that was overwhelming, where he or she felt unableto cope. For example, this could include family conflict, school concerns, self-harm, substance misuse, homelessness, stress, depression, etc.
